Really nice find just off the busy street. I went in after being told it had changed owners. It was a much better experience than when I visited a few years ago. The staff are great, the food looked well presented, although I didnt eat, and the place has had a part refubishment which the lad on the bar told me wasd an ongoing project to restore the place to its more traditional look. The covered up stained glass windows had been uncovered and new but more in keeping lighting and fittings installed. The place for me seemed completly different to the grotty boozer I had been to previously. The best part for me was the huge range of cask ales available, 7 I think, and nearly all brewed locally too. It has a relaxed atmosphere and a good mix of ages. Keep up the good work, I'll definitely be going again soon
