Just visiting family in Brighton, was invited for a drink at the st James. Wasn't sure what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised at this busy little corner pub. Great thai food and a brilliant selection of rum the staff were only too happy to try and tell me about. Being a rum imbiber for years it was no surprise I stayed for several hours and while the end of the night may have been hazy, the beginning was well enjoyable like, definitely one I'd return too given the chance.
