The Beer Cafe is situated in the heart of the Merchant City area near a good few other trendy/cool bars. I'm never to sure what clientele the BC is going for, it's a nice enough bar, pretty sparce re decor, but in a trendy/cosmopolitan way - but nothing spectacular. The bar has a light airy feel with full glass windows/door etc & as you enter theres a well stocked circular bar, a few basic chairs /tables dotted around and a few ledges to lean on & err thats it. Ok it has a pretty good selection of beers from all over the world (and the classics Tennants, Fosters etc) but it's pretty expensive for a beer (£4 for bottle of Belgian beer!!!) its possibly the most expensive bar in the area. Nice enough but take your wallet if you plan to stay all night!
