I've been here a few times over the years, when in Glasgow I like to pop in for a nice quiet drink after dinner.

Friendly staff and drinkers. Not one of the chain pubs, just a nice quiet place to enjoy a drink without a quasi nightclub atmosphere.

An excellent range of Malt whiskies to try, sometimes the staff can advise based on what you have tried and liked or not liked before.

I intend to keep visiting - one of the high points in visiting this city.

The Pot Still is another of Glasgow's hidden gems altho' probably more for the older more serious connoisseur that w/e boozer (like me).I'm not a big Whiskey drinker but I hear it has one of the best whiskey selections in Scotland/UK & it shows drinks for £1.60 to £20+ a glass. There's also an excellent general spirits selection (not just whisky) although there could be more beers (but there are enough).Really friendly bar staff & punters. Good seating is available and a nice area at the back. Attracts a lot of whisky drinkers form the local area, the UK and overseas.
