We hired an area in this bar for a works night which was nice although the bar was left unattended at times.
An honest lot we never took advantage of this, however, one of the party had no glass for a bottle of wine and went behind the bar but unfortunately dropped the said glass - one too many!
We waited for the barman to come back and explained what had happened and we would pay for the damage. He went absolutely mad saying "no one goes behind my bar".
As he was becoming aggressive we asked to speak to the manager.
The manager then appeared clearly wanting a fight. Physically shaking with rage and looking to throw out whoever was behind the bar he started accusing people who were only trying to calm him down - 20 of us left at this point never to return again.
