After hearing the pub had changed hands recently i decided to check it out and see if it had returned to its former glory.

I found that it is now much cleaner and set out better. The beer was on great form and the choice was great (3 real ales, along side 4 lagers, 2 draft ciders and a huge variety of bottles).

The food is also really good, all fresh and well worth a try.

Highly recomended to all.

Visited this lovely pub the past weekend by a very warm welcoming from the bar staff and a friendly atmosphere.

It has changed hands again recently and it seems for the better!

I enjoyed a fantasic meal; I had the eggs benedict to start which was served with a homemade hollandaise sauce, followed by the homemade steak and ale pie which were both outstanding!

Busy but not to busy so as to ruin your night.

There is a vast selection of beers and wines for all to enjoy and real cask ales.
