In 1978 I am sure there used to be a pub between the Campfield and the Boundary. It was little more than a front parlour, and I think it closed around 1979. We used to call it the Smithdown 13 because we started at The Oxford (then a Higsons pub), walked up to the Coach & Horse on Lodge Lane (a Thwaites pub) and then up to the Boundary.
