The good old days had close to 20 pubs on the "mile" with many bars/clubs hidden in plain sight. Sadly, the local council, residents and boring locals pushed up costs and complaints that lead to this institution being all but closed.

Having been lucky to par-take in many, many nights on the mile - growing up locally helped - this place holds many fond memories and friendships.

On top of this, a close friend ran one of the main bars - The Nags Head - for several years, however with foot traffic decreasing and more and more punters heading into Swansea, this left the landlord little choice to close his doors.

Here are a few we frequented:

White Rose

The Nags Head

CJ's

Vincent's

William Hancock

Social Club

Rugby Club

Monroe's

Prince of Wales

Antelope

Conservative Club

Nab Rock

George

Pilot

Yaught Club

Toby

Salty bar

Cinderella's

Admiral Benbow

Neptune's

NB: I have not included the Park or Victoria Inn as these were not officially on the Mumbles road.
