Named after the Greek God of wine, Bacchus is one of Glasgows best bars. lets get this out of the way first, there are a lot of folk (blokes) that avoid Bacchus thinking it's a gay bar (as its near Bennets, the local Gay night club) it's not, but it is a trendy unpretentious bar. The interior is smart with dark wood panels and a nice long bar with low cushioned bar stools, light wooden floor and ample (clean) tables. Toilets are clean and modern.Beer & spirits selection is very good (Tennents to bottle beers, cocktails) and for a bar on the cusp of the trendy Merchant City the prices are very reasonable.I've only eaten here twice and it was excellent (nachos, seabass, pasta etc), Bar staff are very friendly - what you waiting for visit the place (Bennets is otional of course)
