This really should be a gem, a quiet Oasis of calm in what is the arse end of Oxford St and currently being rebuilt around the new crossrail station It has a really bad frontage from the 1980's at a guess and first instinct is just keep on walking ...... but inside you can see what was clearly once a grand interior

Sadly its not had the investment and it just smells of death rather like the toilets which are strictly third world. What makes Mitchells & Butler think anyone in their right mind would want to eat there is beyond belief tho I think they trade as Nicholsons

I couldnt get served cos I had a £50 note so went elsewhere as apparently its not legal tender. I went up the road for a diffrent experience and they happily took my money. I did complain via the M&B/Nicholsons website which warns it may take sometime to get back presumably cos they have so many complaints. Well 2 weeks later nowt so I dont suppose they really give a monkeys . Avoid!
