The Palace has the worst staff I have ever come across. They are unfriendly and come across as they don't want to be there. I have never even seen the landlord so you have to put up with the assistant manager who has a constant face of thunder. Any food I have ordered has been brought over with one of the staffs fingers in it and is over priced. They have a good variety of ales on offer but the staff have n idea how to pour a pint. Overall I'd rather but beers at the local Coop and stay at home!
