Situated in the centre of the Merchant City area Blackfriars is a popular Galsgow bar. Very good for real ale having up to 7 guest ales available from local area (Strathaven etc )and further afield in the UK. Also has a good selection of other beers and spirits, although prices can be a bit high. The bar can get pretty busy with people congregating around the bar area at times meaning its difficult to get served but bar staff are excellent and will find you. Seating is ok but fills up quickly. The bar has a few barrels & ledges jotted about to rest your pint on so no need to get bumped about when busy. There are lots of poster and flyer abound (something I like to see) and lots of papers to read during the day, with live music available at various times. I've not tried the food so can't comment. Gents loo is strangely siutated and looks like its been added recently but is clean enough. Worth a vist and a definate for real ale fans.
