when they started doing food recently it seemed like a good idea, but i'm still waiting to eat there as when i've wanted to the landlady has been 'too poorly' so there's been no food service, although on the last occasion it turned out she'd actually gone out somewhere else to eat! menus are hardly ever out on tables, but apparently if you ask at the bar for food and the landlady can be bothered then you will get served. seems to me they don't really want you to eat there...but if all you want is a drink in a friendly place with a great beer garden then you can't go wrong
