After the write-up in the GBG, I thought this was a real disappointment. Four nationally-available beers (Youngs, Pride, Landlord and Doombar) at pretty much London prices, and bar staff who were more interested in chatting to each other than serving people. I'll stick to pubs like the Bell and the Old Green Tree, which serve local beer and give you a good welcome.
