Recently went to this pub for a Christmas meal, was not impressed with the quality of the meal. Requested steak, but there was no choice as to how you have your steak, when it came out it was braising steak which is not what I usually would have in a Christmas meal but in a stew. The braising steak was cooked for a long long time. The roast potatoes were burnt and soggy. I also requested chocolate brownie, this was more like a chocolate cheese cake with a very thin base, some of those who I was with complained that it was still icey.
However, the staff were pleasant trying their best to please.
